Patricia Perkel has been appointed Executive Director of the Commonwealth Journalists Association. She replaces Bryan Cantley who has retired after five years at the post.
Patricia has 30 years experience as a freelance print and broadcast journalist. She began her career with community weekly newspapers, both as a reporter/editor and as publisher of her own paper.
Later as a freelance reporter, she covered rural Ontario for community papers and for dailies in Ontario, Canada.
